WHO WE ARE
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer advocacy organization, with more than 3 million members throughout the country. HRC is a bipartisan organization that works to advance equality based on sexual orientation and gender expression and identity, to ensure that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community. HRC also creates educational resources and outreach programs for corporate America as well as for all members of the general population who are committed to fairness and equality.
The Human Rights Campaign is organized and will be operated for the promotion of the social welfare of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. By inspiring and engaging individuals and communities, HRC strives to end discrimination against LGBT people and realize a world that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is organized for the charitable and educational purposes of promoting public education and welfare for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. HRC Foundation envisions a world where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are ensured equality and embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community.
Founded in 1980, HRC effectively lobbies Congress, provides campaign support to candidates for federal office and works to educate the public on a wide array of topics affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans, including workplace, family and discrimination issues. HRC has established one of the most respected public policy and field operations among Washington-based advocacy organizations and the mainstream civil rights community.

Human Rights Campaign fights for LGBT equality in California alongside state and local groups and lawmakers. For more than 30 years, HRC has played a pivotal role in advancing LGBT equality in The Golden State. Your local HRC Orange County

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE GARDEN PARTY
The Orange County / Long Beach Garden Party and Auction now brings together more than 300 HRC members, friends, families and allies for an afternoon of celebration and inspiration featuring an open cocktail reception, an extensive silent auction and thought-provoking speakers, special celebrity guests and honorees, and live entertainment. Dress code for the event is garden party casual. Check back for details about speakers, honorees and location.
The co-hosts and the Orange County and Long Beach HRC Federal Clubs invite you to join us on August 3 for a wonderful afternoon to celebrate progress in the fight for LGBTQ equality.
The afternoon will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, silent and live auctions and remarks from local and national celebrity honorees.
